You can’t remove the management of the Chromebooks if they are issued by a school. There are no hacks. It can’t be done. If you signed on with a managed account but didn’t buy a Chromebook, management has taken over. It’s 2019.

It’s not necessary to go into development mode to wipe the admin off the machine. The only thing you have to do is wash your house. The device can be controlled by an admin. You would have to get in touch with the company that controls the machine. A new year 2020.
How do I change who manages my Chromebook?
- Log into your Chromebook using the current owner account.
- Open Settings > Advanced > Reset settings.
- Click Powerwash. Click Restart to confirm.
- When your Chromebook restarts, log in using the new account that you want to make the “owner” of this Chromebook.

For now, this is the only method that Chrome OS provides to change owner account, and factory resetting Chromebook to change owner may not be the best solution.
